At Unique, we understand that the end of someone’s life is not just a physical reality, but a social and emotional reality also. We take a compassionate approach to end of life care which considers the needs of the client and their family members.

Our Health and Wellbeing Team is trained to recognise and manage the symptoms that occur at the end of a person’s life. We manage the person’s needs in a dignified and sensitive manner to ensure their passing is as comfortable and peaceful as possible. We also empower them to make decisions about the end of their life, including how they want to live the rest of their life and how they want to be cared for.

By having a member of our Health and Wellbeing Team care for your loved one, not only does it provide them with the care they need, but it enables you to take time away from the emotional strain of this difficult time. We understand the importance of taking this time to focus on your own needs so you can return to your loved one feeling rejuvenated to carry on caring. However, we also understand the concerns associated with having someone else care for your loved one whilst you are away.

Here at Unique, our focus is on delivering an exceptional standard of care which is made possible by the thorough training, formal qualifications and compassionate attitude our team possess. This means that, whilst you are away, you can take comfort in the knowledge that your loved one is being well-cared for by someone who is knowledgeable, skilled and compassionate. We also provide regular updates on our time with your loved one so you can be reassured that they are receiving excellent care.
