During a companionship visit, a member of our Health and Wellbeing Team will spend time with your family member in whichever way they wish. We can help them to complete household tasks, manage personal routines, attend social events or simply spend time with them so they are not alone.
How We Can Assist
Especially during the pandemic, there is rising concern for the welfare of people with already limited social contact. Due to the restrictions and guidelines that have been issued, people are more at risk of becoming isolated from others. This can create feelings of loneliness and a sense of loss by not being able to see family members in person.
Our Health and Wellbeing Team can act as a support network, whether this involves helping them with daily tasks or having a chat over a cup of tea. Just the presence of an extra person in the home can be a comfort to many and, especially in these challenging times, can prevent feelings of loneliness. We comply with stringent infection control measures so we can provide company for your loved one in a safe and controlled manner.
